Job Summary

The U.S. Army is seeking a skilled Aircraft Electrician to join our team. As an Aircraft Electrician, you will be responsible for supervising, inspecting, and performing maintenance on aircraft electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Maintenance: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in electrical and electronic components, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of aircraft electrical systems.
  • Facilities Management: Maintain facilities for the storage of flammable and hazardous materials, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Tool Maintenance: Use and maintain common and special tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Request Processing: Prepare and submit requests for turn-ins and repair parts, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Preference in mathematics and shop mechanics, problem-solving, and ability to use hand and power tools.
  • Training: 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and 19 weeks of Advanced Individual Training with on-the-job instruction.
