About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Care and Companionship Specialist to join our team at Live Long Well Care. As a specialist, you will provide top-notch personal care and companionship services to seniors in their own homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Description
  • Provide Personal Care: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, feeding, and mobility assistance.
  • Offer Companionship: Engage clients in daily activities, provide emotional support, and promote social interaction.
  • Prepare Meals: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to client preferences and dietary needs.
  • Perform Light Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organization.
  • Transport Clients: Safely transport clients to appointments, events, and other destinations as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; training program completion may be necessary for some positions.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a similar role; experience working with seniors preferred.
  • Certifications: CNA certification not required but can be beneficial; first aid and CPR certifications may be necessary.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
