We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Lead to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean and well-maintained.
- Train and mentor new staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that housekeeping services are integrated into the overall operations of the hospital.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and quality of service.
- High school education or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer service and floor and carpet care.
- Ability to understand and converse in English at a level that allows safe and efficient performance of the job.
- Previous lead experience preferred.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, and understand basic medical terminology.
- Ability to follow standard procedures using discretion and understand the needs of patients and react appropriately.
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds.
