Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour

As a Night Shift Registered Nurse, you will work 3x12-hour shifts, providing care to patients during the night. You will be responsible for administering medications, performing IV starts, and providing intermediate-level care to patients.

Guaranteed Hours: N/A

This assignment does not offer guaranteed hours, but you will have the opportunity to work a consistent schedule and develop your skills in a dynamic environment.Experience: Travel Experience Required

To be considered for this assignment, you must have at least 1 year of telemetry experience and be a travel nurse. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

License: KY or Compact License Required

You must have a valid KY or Compact License to apply for this assignment. You will be responsible for maintaining your license and ensuring you meet the requirements for this assignment.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Required

You must have current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS to apply for this assignment. You will be responsible for maintaining your certifications and ensuring you meet the requirements for this assignment.

Must-Have: EPIC Experience

EPIC experience is required for this assignment. You will be working with EPIC software and must have experience with this system to be considered for this assignment.

Job Description:
  • Work night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., including every third weekend, floating, and holidays.
  • Perform IV starts and provide intermediate-level care.
  • COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions available).
  • Dress code requires navy blue scrubs without agency or brand logos.
  • Tattoos and piercings guidelines enforce no nose rings or gauged earrings.
  • Maintain professional appearance with nails less than 1/4" in length; natural fingernails required, but polish is acceptable.
  • Onsite refrigerator and microwave provided for meal storage and preparation.
  • Ability to float within scope as needed.
  • Must not be in the process of applying for permanent roles within designated healthcare providers.
  • Comprehensive orientation provided with 16 non-billable hours.
  • Expectations include adherence to facility-specific dress and appearance standards.
