As an Industrial Engineer, your primary focus will be on assessing and enhancing current operational processes. You will play a pivotal role in promoting increased productivity and cost efficiency throughout the organization. Your expertise will be essential in pinpointing and executing modifications that improve the performance of personnel, facilities, and systems while ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction are upheld.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Enhancement: Implement Lean methodologies including Value Stream Mapping, Continuous Flow, 5S Workplace Organization, Cycle Time, and Takt Time Studies, alongside Waste Identification and Total Productive Maintenance.
  • Technology Integration: Assist in the deployment of information and technology systems.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work alongside various functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Resource Management: Offer support and guidance to operations for optimizing resource use and executing cost-saving initiatives.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct analyses, establish metrics, and generate relevant reports.
  • CAD Application: Utilize CAD software to design and improve workspaces and layouts, enhancing ergonomics and efficiency while minimizing repetitive tasks.
  • SOP Development: Refine and create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for current and future operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on root cause analysis.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related field) is required.
  • Preferred: Six Sigma Lean Certification.
