Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate staffing within the unit, ensuring the execution of clinical goals and the provision of quality patient care.
2. Assign, guide, educate, and supervise nursing and support personnel during your shift.
3. Participate in or conduct performance evaluations for staff members.
4. Assess daily patient care requirements and allocate care assignments, ensuring appropriate care is delivered to all patients.
5. Evaluate patient care effectiveness and identify any issues impacting desired outcomes.
6. Address patient care complaints through established protocols.
7. Provide input on hiring, training, and the development of staff.
Qualifications:
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Registered Nurse credential from the Tennessee Board of Nursing required prior to hire or transfer.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification and a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
