We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team at Tradesmen International, Inc. in the Everett, WA area.

Job Scope:
  • Design, manufacture, install, and repair ventilation, furniture, lightweight bulkheads, and doors aboard naval vessels.
  • Read mechanical drawings and layout, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products related to Shipboard construction, HVAC, and Habitability.
  • Work with various types of metals and sizes, and assist in the assembly of ventilation runs in accordance with drawings specs and meet Navy shipboard standard detail requirements.
  • Installation of MJB MJ doors, berthings, galleys, and office outfitting.
Requirements:
  • Must be Journeyman level.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen.
  • Pass drug screen and background check.
  • Must have certified or original documentation of citizenship: US birth certificate, US Passport, or Naturalization document.
  • 5+ years of previous recent experience working as a Marine Sheetmetal Mechanic.
  • Previous work on Navy vessels preferred.
