- Identify and Resolve Issues: Proactively identify and resolve safety, environmental, quality, and production issues as they arise.
- Lead and Develop Maintenance Personnel: Provide direction, training, and support to maintenance personnel, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Work with the production team to maximize productivity, minimize costs, and effectively schedule maintenance activities.
- Develop and Implement Maintenance Programs: Execute, develop, and maintain effective preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Provide Effective Troubleshooting: Use troubleshooting methods to reduce downtime events and ensure efficient equipment operation.
- Collaborate with Management: Work with the management team to plan equipment or technological changes to mill equipment.
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a technical field such as Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 2 years' experience in an industrial environment in reliability, engineering, or supervision, or 5 years' experience in maintenance supervision.
- Skills: Proven leadership and safety performance, knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and controls maintenance processes, experience with CMMS programs, and basic computer skills.
- Certifications: Related certifications such as CRL, CMRP, or Lubrication certifications.
- Personal Qualities: Strong mechanical aptitude, planning and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and electronic communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
