Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as an Employee Health Specialist at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.

This is a dynamic opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our employees. As an Employee Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment, promoting employee wellness, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement the Employee Health Program, including conducting health assessments, providing immunizations, and administering medications as needed.
  • Collect and analyze employee health-related data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Serve as a resource for Department Heads, Infection Control, Safety Committee, Quality Assurance, employees, and other stakeholders, providing guidance and support on employee health-related matters.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures related to employee health.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on employee health data, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A current Mississippi LPN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Tuberculosis (TB) certification.
  • Minimum two years of experience in clinical nursing, with some experience in teaching and nursing management preferred.
  • Strong nursing assessment skills, knowledge of contagious diseases and epidemiology, technical skills for testing and immunizations, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
