We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Bradford Place Care Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with food consumption, elimination, and transferring and ambulating.
- Monitor and report any changes in resident condition or other relevant matters to the Charge Nurse.
- Assist nurses during treatments, medical procedures, and emergencies, and record accurate and legible information about resident care and condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, following infection control practices and reporting safety problems immediately.
- Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of plans of care for assigned residents, and report information and suggested approaches to the Charge Nurse.
- Carry out administrative functions, including prioritizing daily tasks, participating in staff meetings, and attending continuing education programs.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- One or more years of related experience preferred.
- Successful completion of a nurse assistant training and competency evaluation program, including passing of the certification exam.
