**Job Summary**

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to lead our team in Flemingsburg, KY. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality materials.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide plant-level safety leadership and accountability
  • Lead and direct crew members, providing coaching and development opportunities
  • Identify and implement operational continuous improvement opportunities
  • Oversee stripping operations and develop mine plans in conjunction with the plant leadership team
  • Report day-to-day progress of operations to the plant manager
  • Manage critical repair parts inventory and schedule mobile EQ and fixed plant repairs
  • Execute production plans in conjunction with the plant leadership team
  • Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, federal regulations, and site-specific procedures

**Requirements:**

  • Demonstrated ability to impact safe working practices
  • Degree in the mining field or 5+ years of mining experience
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience in mining
  • Prior experience in the crushed stone industry a plus
  • MSHA training a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

**Work Environment:**

The role operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions.
