Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at UCLA Health. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth of our congenital heart program.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating care for congenital heart patients, providing education to patients and their families, promoting safe continuity of care, and participating in interdisciplinary rounds. They will also be expected to make appropriate referrals and document services rendered.

Requirements
  • California RN and NP License required
  • MSN/DNP with Pediatric Acute Care NP or FNP Specialty required
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
  • National Certification in NP Specialty required
  • A minimum of 2 years pediatric cardiac experience in a RN or NP role required
  • Previous NP experience required
  • State of CA NP Furnishing with Schedule II, NPI#, DEA#, Enrollment in PECOS, Enrollment in CURES required
  • Ability to utilize excel, word, and other software programs required
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative, clinical, and academic personnel required
  • Skill in working independently and following through with minimum directions required
  • Ability to set priorities required
  • Demonstrate writing skills to compose logical, detailed, and grammatically correct correspondence required
  • Document patient care in a concise and comprehensive manner required
Salary Information

$84.82 - $121.13 Hourly
