Job Summary

Rose Paving LLC, a leading provider of parking lot management solutions, is seeking an experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate truck logs and paperwork in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure road worthiness and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with Foreman to receive and provide updates on pickup and delivery instructions.
  • Load and unload equipment/materials safely and securely, handling various terrains and weather conditions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including fueling, lubricating, and servicing the vehicle.
  • Operate the vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Assist ground crews with daily tasks and be open to labor work when not driving.

Requirements:

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License for the State of Connecticut.
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous commercial driving experience and DOT certification.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and pass a drug test and background screen.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
  • Good eyesight and ability to drive up to 8/10 hours daily.
