Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Triage: Conduct rapid assessments and triage of emergency patients to ensure timely and effective care.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with established protocols.
- Emergency Procedures: Perform emergency procedures as needed, including but not limited to, CPR, defibrillation, and other life-saving interventions.
- Care Coordination: Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Patient Education: Provide patient and family education on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an emergency department setting.
- Certifications: Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
