Job Summary:

This Adjunct faculty member teaches Biology courses in a variety of teaching modalities, including in-person, online, and blended classes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teaches lecture and laboratory sections to students
  • Evaluates and advises students on their academic progress
  • Participates in departmental and college affairs, including committee work and curriculum development
  • Recruits students for the program
  • Serves on committees to advance the department's goals
  • Develops and implements curricula for Biology courses
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the department chairperson

Minimum Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Biology from a regionally accredited institution or a Master's degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Biology from a regionally accredited institution
  • Positions may be available at various campus locations

Preferred Qualifications:
