Job Title: Clin Tech 1 - Radiology

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide clinical services in our radiology department. The successful candidate will assist in the delivery of direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and collaborate with the care team to implement the plan of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the delivery of direct patient care, including basic activities of daily living and measurement of vital signs.
  • Provide clinical services according to imaging practice standards and act as a resource to ensure optimal department functions.
  • Communicate and collaborate with care team members to implement the plan of care and meet individualized and developmental patient care outcomes.
  • Utilize information to continuously improve patient care and practice to enhance outcomes.
  • Partners with Registered Nurse to create a professional development plan to provide employee with the necessary skills to deliver up-to-date patient care.
Requirements
  • Experience in radiology, MRI, or X-ray preferred.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to attend six week training orientation upon hire.

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (8am - 8:30pm). Shift: Day/evening.
