Role Summary:
We are currently seeking a full-time Interventional Pain Management Physician to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in alleviating acute and chronic pain through various interventional techniques, including nerve blocks, epidural injections, and medication management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality patient care in collaboration with the Medical Director, diagnosing symptoms and implementing effective treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with clinical and surgical protocols while monitoring patient progress and managing treatment plans.
- Educate patients on healthcare management, including adherence to therapeutic regimens and interventional procedures.
- Conduct timely follow-ups with patients to assess improvements from multiple perspectives, including psychological and social factors.
- Facilitate appropriate referrals to specialists and maintain communication with referring physicians.
- Participate in regular meetings and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
- Maintain professional credentials and engage in peer education initiatives.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the mission and values of Capitol Pain Institute.
Qualifications:
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Anesthesia or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Interventional Pain Management.
- Active or processing state medical license.
- Completion of a fellowship in Pain Management.
- Proven experience in Pain Management practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and the ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
- Excellent bedside manner and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary starting at $350K per year, along with comprehensive benefits including life insurance options.
