About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems and Storage Engineer to join our dynamic Cloud Infrastructure Team. This team plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing our global network and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize infrastructure: You will be responsible for handling public cloud infrastructure and VMware environments, ensuring optimal performance and resource consumption.
  • Monitor and maintain system health: You will detect issues, monitor system health, and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Develop and maintain documentation: You will create and update technical documentation, including Run Books and architecture diagrams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: You will work with IT, Technical Operations, and DBA teams for growth and capacity planning.
  • Participate in 24x7 support rotation: You will handle escalations and provide system support.
  • Research and implement new technologies: You will identify gaps and offer recommendations for improvements.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 4+ years of experience managing VMware ESX clusters, especially VMware 6.7 or later.
  • Proficiency with automation tools like Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud, AWS, Azure).
  • Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or Perl.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO 27001, FedRamp, HIPAA, GDPR).
