Job Summary

Alta Mira NM is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist/Contractor to join our team. As a key member of our Early Intervention Program, you will work closely with children, families, and other professionals to provide high-quality services and support.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans to address the unique needs of each child.
  2. Collaborate with families and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
  3. Implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to promote child development and progress.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  5. Provide training and support to other staff members, including practicum students and lower-level therapists.
  6. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and research.
  7. Document all services and interactions with families, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  8. Adhere to Alta Mira NM's policies and procedures, as well as relevant state and federal regulations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Mexico.
  • Experience working with children and families in an Early Intervention setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
