Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Screening and Diagnosis: Conduct thorough assessments to identify students with speech and language impairments, and develop individualized plans to address their needs.
  • Therapeutic Intervention: Provide evidence-based therapy to students with a range of communication disorders, including fluency, phonation, resonance, articulation, and oral language formation.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students with communication disorders.
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of students with varying levels of need, prioritizing services and developing plans to ensure timely and effective support.
Requirements
  • Illinois Professional Educators License (PEL): Must hold a valid Illinois PEL with a Speech Language Pathologist endorsement.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting.
  • Education: Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
