Dietetic Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the California Department of Veterans Affairs (CalVet) in the Food Services Department of the Veterans Home of California-Chula Vista. As a Dietetic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing nutrition support to our residents. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team and contribute to the well-being of our veterans.

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents
• Help with food inventory management and ordering
• Support the dietary team in maintaining a clean and safe food service environment
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition support

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of nutrition principles and practices. You should also be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with residents, staff, and healthcare professionals.
