Position: Lead Systems Architect

Location: Remote with occasional onsite requirements

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Compensation: $55/hr - $60/hr

Our client, a prominent healthcare organization, is seeking a Lead Systems Architect to enhance their team.

This organization focuses on developing software solutions that facilitate the management and tracking of patient care in healthcare facilities.

With a significant data center located in the region, they prefer candidates who are within commuting distance.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Windows environments and the Microsoft technology stack. Familiarity with Linux systems is also beneficial. The primary responsibilities will include assisting with their Entra implementation, establishing cloud connectivity, and driving automation initiatives.

Skills in Ansible, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes will be advantageous as this role is expected to evolve in that direction.


Contract Duration: 4-6 months with potential for full-time employment

Work Environment: Primarily remote, with some onsite/on-call responsibilities during incidents at the data center.

Compensation upon Conversion: $110K - $125K

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proficient in both Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience in task automation using Bash or PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong understanding of Azure DevOps practices.
  • Background in data center operations.
  • Familiarity with configuration management tools such as DSC, Ivanti, Ansible, or Puppet.

Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years in system administration or engineering roles.
  • Relevant certifications or degrees are preferred.

Technical Skills:
  • Windows & Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
  • Ansible or Puppet
  • Bash or PowerShell
  • Kubernetes
