Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Debt Recovery Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our debt recovery department, you will be responsible for representing clients in bankruptcy proceedings, negotiating with creditors, and advising clients on bankruptcy laws.

You will work closely with our team to develop and implement effective strategies to recover debts, minimize financial burdens, and ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings, ensuring their rights are protected and their interests are represented effectively.
  • Draft and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and other forms, adhering to strict timelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend court hearings with clients, providing expert advice and support throughout the process.
  • Advise clients on bankruptcy laws and their rights, helping them navigate complex financial situations.
  • Negotiate with creditors on behalf of clients, securing favorable outcomes and minimizing financial burdens.

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the state.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in bankruptcy law, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of federal bankruptcy laws, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13.
