Job Summary

AmeriHealth Caritas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Behavioral Health Case Management Team to oversee the daily operations of our Behavioral Health Case Workers. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that care management services meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical direction and organizational leadership to the Behavioral Health Case Workers
  • Monitor productivity and documentation, and ensure alignment with state regulations
  • Mentor staff and assist in executing strategic plans and daily operations
  • Drive the delivery of exceptional case management services and ensure quality of care
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals
Requirements
  • At least three (3)+ years of Behavioral Health clinical practice experience
  • Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN) and an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in South Carolina
  • OR five (5)+ years of Behavioral Health clinical practice experience, Master of Social Worker (MSW), and LMSW licensure in South Carolina
  • Must have at least two (2) years of Supervisory experience
  • Previous experience with Reporting to include State required reporting and NCQA
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) and documentation programs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, decision-making and problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize and organize
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in community-based settings and/or home care
  • Current or prior experience collaborating with the Department of Mental Health (DMH), the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), the Department of Social Services (DSS), and/or the Department of Disability and Special Needs (DDSN)
