Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Blood Cancer Oncology to join our team at Medical City Dallas. As a key member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our oncology department.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to oncology patients with a focus on blood cancer and disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Implement evidence-based practices and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in oncology care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Develop and implement teaching plans to promote patient education and empowerment.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Provider certification within 60 days of employment start date.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • Recent/Current Acute Care experience in a hospital setting.
  • Previous experience in Oncology, BMT, Critical Care, ICU, or PCU.
