CNC Machinist/Programmer Opportunity

We are a small family-owned precision machine shop located in Massachusetts, specializing in tight-tolerance, custom machined components for various industries. We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team and help us expand our operations.

• Program, set up, and operate various 3, 4 & 5-axis vertical mills, adjusting fixtures and inspecting CNC machined components to strict customer specifications.
• Strong programming, manufacturing, and inspection skills are required.
• Convey important information about job status, part quality, and estimated completion time as needed.
• Assist other operators in the department with machine set-ups and general manufacturing practices, overseeing training and instruction as needed.

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
• Proficiency with Mastercam.
• Knowledge and/or practice of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S.
• Dedication and drive to develop and implement new methods of programming, fixturing, and manufacturing to improve quality, reduce cost, and promote continuous improvement.
• Highest attention to detail, quality, tolerances, and on-time delivery.
• Ability to work both as a team player and independently with minimal supervision.
• Critical thinking, good communication, and creative problem-solving skills.
• Positive attitude, punctuality, dependability, effort, and energy.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
