Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional capacities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments, medical history, and physician recommendations.
  • Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions to address patients' mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and strategies for improving daily functioning.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and client-centered approach to therapy.
