We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Specialist to join our team at Nottingham Village. As a key member of our housekeeping staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.

Job Responsibilities- Maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe manner, adhering to established procedures and guidelines.
- Receive and follow cleaning schedules/instructions from supervisors or as outlined in policies and procedures.
- Empty and sanitize ashtrays, clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc.
- Clean bathroom fixtures, windows, mirrors, floors, carpets, walls, and ceilings, ensuring no water spots or dirt accumulation.
- Remove dirt, dust, and grease film from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
- Dispose of waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacles with plastic liners.
- Report and replace burned-out light bulbs, including exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, and room call lights.
- Assure work/cleaning schedules are followed as outlined for respective shift areas.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
