Job Title: Accessory Demand Planner

Victra, the leading exclusive, premium retailer for Verizon, is seeking a skilled Accessory Demand Planner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of our inventory and supply chain operations across our nationwide network of stores.

Your Focus:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who can create and maintain forecast models that incorporate business intelligence and information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer data, and other sources. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining forecast models to ensure high accuracy of forecast and inventory levels
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan, communicate, and execute new product launches
  • Designing and generating weekly/monthly forecasting models
  • Conducting current and future forecasting analysis in partnership with Data Analytics and FP&A functions
  • Measuring forecast accuracy and controlling inventory targets approved by management
  • Assembling and analyzing data to create sales forecasts in accordance with different layers of analysis
  • Making recommendations for inventory target adjustments based on changes in demand and market trends
  • Managing item life-cycles based on market trends and device life-cycles
  • Reviewing sales forecasts and inventory coverage
  • Evolution and maintenance of documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes and systems
  • Preparing reports and communicating forecast and inventory measurements to our distribution partner and brands
Your Background:

We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in demand management/forecasting, forecasting processes in sales, marketing, operations, finance, manufacturing, and supply chain issues. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a role doing inventory scheduling, forecasting, and planning
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and familiarity with RQ4
  • Good communication and team building skills
  • Highly organized with managing projects/initiatives as well as collecting and compiling data from multiple sources
  • Extensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical skills
  • Knowledge of key inventory performance metrics
  • Collaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in inventory
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
Travel Requirements:
  • Up to 10%
