About the Role:

No Longer Bound is seeking a skilled Per Diem Nurse to provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to men in our residential treatment program. As a Per Diem Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing residents' physical needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical needs and develop individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as directed by a physician, ensuring accurate dosing and adherence to treatment plans.
  • Medical Direction: Provide medical direction to patients and families, offering guidance and support as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, ensure continuity of treatment, and maintain open communication with residents and their families.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Accurately document patient progress and update care plans as needed, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Admissions and Intake: Conduct medical interviews for potential admissions, assessing residents' suitability for our program and providing guidance on the admission process.

Requirements:

  • Nursing License: Active nursing license in good standing.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work well in a team environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Organizational and Documentation Skills: Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
