Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled APP to join our inpatient neurosurgery service at Inova Loudoun Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the service, including daily rounds and progress notes, ER and inpatient consults, admissions and discharges, ordering and interpreting labs and radiologic studies, and fielding phone calls from bedside nurses. The APP will also be involved in multidisciplinary care coordination and patient education. Additionally, the APP may perform procedures within the scope of practice and Inova Health System credentialing and privileges, including EVD and ICP monitor placement. Some opportunity exists for first-assisting in the OR, as service needs permit or require. The APP will work directly with the neurosurgeons and provide 24/7 neurosurgery coverage at Inova Loudoun Hospital.

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
  • Board certified (ACNP or NCCPA certification)
  • BLS
  • Virginia License
  • DEA
