Job Title: Mechanical Integrity Engineer

Ascensus Specialties is seeking a skilled Mechanical Integrity Engineer to lead the development and implementation of robust mechanical integrity programs, ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our chemical manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement mechanical integrity programs to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk-based inspections and assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate operational standards and drive operational excellence.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry codes and standards, and provide technical expertise on equipment design and materials.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in mechanical integrity, preferably in the chemical industry.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and industry-specific software (Metegrity, SAP, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $75,000 to $125,000.
  • Targeted hiring range: $75,000 to $110,000, depending on experience.
  • 5% bonus based on individual and company performance.
