The East Baltimore Community Corporation/Reflective Treatment Center is seeking a qualified Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for implementing effective treatment plans to clients in an individual or group setting.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients with substance abuse issues.
- Conduct group and individual counseling sessions to support clients in achieving their treatment goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of client progress and treatment plans.
- Provide education and support to clients and their families on substance abuse and related issues.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
- Current certification from the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists as CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LCSW-C or LCPC Certification.
- Experience working with substance abuse population.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work rotating schedule.
- Ability to pass Criminal Background check.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Previous experience in counseling, social work, or related fields.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
