Transform Lives as a Registered Nurse at Avera St Luke's Hospital
About the Role:
- Deliver exceptional care and management to patients with anxiety, depression, mental illness, and detoxification from alcohol and drugs on the inpatient Behavioral Health Unit.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary care team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, social workers, chaplaincy, counselors, and techs.
- Coordinate care in collaboration with patients, family, physicians, and other nursing staff.
- Identify patient and family learning needs and develop an educational plan.
- Demonstrate effective verbal, oral, and written communication skills.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Registered Nursing Education program.
- South Dakota RN License and/or meeting licensure criteria.
- BLS (Basic Life Support).
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
Work Schedule:
- Hours: 7:00am-7:30pm, 7:00pm-7:30am; 48hrs/2wks.
Compensation:
The hourly range for this position is $33.50 - $46.50 per hour, dependent on experience.
