We are seeking an Agriculture Specialist to join our team in Chinook, MT. As a Crop Protection Application specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful application of fertilizer and crop protection products.

Responsibilities:

">
  • Apply fertilizer and crop protection products under general supervision, with possible use of high clearance sprayers or floaters.
  • Pick up and deliver products to customers as needed.
  • Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner, educating them on products being applied to fields, techniques utilized, and how they can continue to support their needs.
  • Assist sales staff in verifying orders and meeting customer needs.
  • Perform warehouse tasks, including driving loaders, forklifts, performing maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness of vehicles and work areas.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in agriculture production, operations, or agricultural application.
  • Must meet minimum age requirement.
  • Maintain or obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements preferred.
  • Agriculture background and customer experience preferred.

Salary and Benefits:

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package, including a base wage of $55,000 per year, plus bonus, incentives, and commissions depending on position. Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  • Ability to climb rail cars, ladders, stairs, and bins, and into the back of trailers.
  • Ability to work in dust and adverse weather conditions and temperatures.
