Job Title: Travel Nurse

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse to join our team. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and locations, providing high-quality patient care and developing your clinical skills.

Job Details:
  • Shift: Days / 6:45a-7:15p, 12x4, 48hrs per week, EOW
  • Length: 13 Weeks
  • Requirements:
    • ME license
    • Minimum 2 years' experience
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • NIH preferred
    • Experience: Cerner preferred
    • Previous Charge Experience preferred
    • Charting Experience preferred
    • Community Hospital Experience preferred
  • Other Details:
    • Will need to float an take ms/tele patients as needed
    • Unit does not accept 1st time Traveler
    • Unit Systems: Omnicell, Cerner, SBAR
    • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - No Exemptions
    • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Unknown
    • Locals Accepted: Out of state travelers only
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years experience required
  • Certs: ACLS, BCLS
  • Skills Required: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, IV insulin protocols, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Ventilator Management, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience: Cerner, Previous Charge Experience, Charting Experience, Community Hospital Experience
  • Certs: NIH

  • Patient Diagnoses: Sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, COVID, ETOH withdrawal, pnueumonia
  • Special Procedures/Unit Details: Diltiazam gtt titration, Insulin gtt titration, amidarone, precedex gtt
  • Unit Systems: Omnicell, Cerner, SBAR
  • Scrubs: Navy Blue
  • Unit:106400 - SCU/ MICU
