Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Esthetician to join our team at Island Spa & Sauna. The Esthetician will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of customer service and ensuring that every guest receives a consistent and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers in a friendly and hospitable manner.
  • Disinfect equipment and clean work areas before and after procedures to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Evaluate clients' skin condition and appearance and recommend services or treatment based on customer needs.
  • Discuss available treatments and determine which products will improve clients' skin quality.
  • Recommend skincare products, such as cleansers, creams, or lotions.
  • Extract blackheads.
  • Follows reservation schedules; Adheres to scheduled service times.
  • Replace tools, sheets, products between sessions to maintain hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and professional work environment.
  • Teach and advise clients on how to care for their skin.
  • Actively seeks to learn new techniques.
Job Qualifications:
  • Minimum Education: Completion of Cosmetology Curriculum
  • Minimum Experience: 2-3 years
  • Certifications: Esthetician License in NJ
  • Skills: Excellent Customer Service, Coordination, Finger Dexterity, Time Management, Steadiness, Listening Skills
