Maintenance Supervisor Job Description

About the Role:

The Annex Group LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our community management staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our residential facilities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents, vendors, and community partners
  • Execute high-quality maintenance and repair services to maintain the appearance and functionality of our properties
  • Manage and oversee maintenance operations, including planning, budgeting, and supervising maintenance staff
  • Train and develop maintenance team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively
  • Requisition materials and supplies, including replacement parts, equipment, tools, and capital improvement projects
  • Participate in budget preparation and administration, coordinating purchasing and documentation and monitoring departmental expenditures
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures
  • Perform plumbing, electrical, and carpentry duties, as well as other maintenance tasks as needed
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner, following company health and safety guidelines

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a maintenance supervisor or similar position
  • HVAC/EPA certification is preferred, but not required
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and maintenance skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, vendors, and community partners
  • A strong work ethic and attention to detail, with a focus on customer satisfaction and quality workmanship
  • A valid U.S. driver's license
