Position:
Maintenance Mechanic

Location:
Lakewood, NJ

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week

Shift Details:
To be determined based on operational requirements. We will accommodate your schedule as much as possible, and this role will not extend past 7:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain injection molding machinery within a manufacturing facility.
- Work with various types of equipment including extrusion, injection molding, hot plate welding, sonic welding, punch presses, and drill presses.
- Maintain effective communication with management regarding equipment status.
- Manage parts orders and maintain an inventory of spare parts, notifying management of significant replacement needs.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment according to a scheduled plan.
- Regularly consult operational manuals before commencing work to understand machinery requirements and plan tasks effectively.
- Place parts orders once approved.
- Possess a basic understanding of PLC systems.
- Perform general facility maintenance as required, including repairs or replacements of lighting fixtures.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience in repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining machinery and equipment, ideally in an ISO-9001 certified environment.
