Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler Installation Specialist to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our fire protection systems team, you will be responsible for the installation, service, and repair of fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression systems, as well as fire pumps and backflow devices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and repair fire protection systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam suppression systems, as well as fire pumps and backflow devices.
  • Execute the installation project plan, including equipment delivery, accurately forecasting installation hours, anticipating potential challenges, and properly securing all tools and equipment at the end of each work period.
  • Apply judgment based on practice and precedence to resolve problems and make decisions.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all work performed and review project drawings to obtain all facts necessary to perform installation activities according to specifications.
  • Work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements and participate in a scheduled on-call rotation after hours.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures and perform inspections as required.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of documented experience in installation and service of fire sprinkler systems.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, perform physical labor, and work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions.
  • Read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, adhere to safety guidelines and procedures, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills, a positive attitude, and an ability to learn quickly.
  • Licenses may be required where applicable.
