- The position is full-time, with a typical schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispensing Medications: Dispense medications prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Medication Education: Educate patients on drug side effects, correct dosage, and potential interactions, promoting safe and effective medication use.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal health laws, regulations, and guidelines, including FDA and DEA requirements.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and interpreting symptoms of non-prescription customers, and advising on possible solutions.
