Admitting Registrar

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admitting Registrar to join our team at Hudson Hospital & Clinic. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for facilitating the admission process for patients, ensuring accurate and timely collection of financial and demographic information, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, family members, and visitors.

• Facilitate the admission process for patients, including scheduling appointments and collecting necessary information
• Accurately and efficiently collect and verify patient demographic and financial information
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, family members, and visitors
• Perform various clerical functions, including pre-authorization, insurance verification, and scanning of documents
• Monitor work queues and communicate with other departments as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in patient registration, scheduling, or admitting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and computerized patient registration systems
