McLaren Health Care is seeking a skilled Electroneurodiagnostic Technician to join our team. As an EEG Specialist, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalographic procedures on patients, ensuring accurate diagnostic results by troubleshooting equipment and performing EEG testing consistent with department policies. Your duties will include instructing patients on the purpose and procedure of the test, performing electroencephalograms, ambulatory EEG's, BAER's, VEP, and other tests within your scope of practice. You will also be responsible for editing and preparing tests for reading by a physician, reporting findings or concerns, and maintaining equipment and patient records. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree from an accredited electroneurodiagnostic technician program or three years of experience using the 10/20 electrode placement system for EEG testing. BLS certification is also required.
