Family Medicine Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Tri-County Community Action Agency. As a primary care specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account patients' medical histories, lifestyles, and personal preferences.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certification (or board eligible, with timeline for completion) in Family Medicine.
- Unrestricted RI license to practice medicine.
- Active Federal DEA License and RI controlled substance license.
- Pediatric admitting privileges at a minimum of one area hospital, if performing off-site obstetric care as part of contracted services.
- Adult/Family Medicine admitting privileges at an area hospital, if performing off-site inpatient adult medicine and/or resident supervision as part of contracted services.
- Family Medicine privileges at an area outpatient practice, if performing off-site outpatient medical care and/or resident supervision as part of contracted services.
- CPR certification.
