Job Description Summary
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University is seeking two tenure-track assistant professors in applied and computational mathematics. The successful candidates will contribute to the department's research and teaching excellence.
The department has a strong research program and various graduate programs, including a new MS program in Data Science.Auburn University's research programs present opportunities for interdisciplinary research and participation in its multidisciplinary programs.

Minimum Qualifications
An earned doctorate in Mathematics by the appointment start date is required. Successful candidates are expected to pursue independent research and teach courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Postdoctoral research experience is required. Successful candidates are expected to be able to communicate effectively in English. Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills are required.
The candidate selected for this position must be able to meet eligibility requirements for work in the United States at the time the appointment is scheduled to begin and continue working legally for the proposed term of employment.
