Job Summary

The Assistant Regional Merchant (Footwear & Team Sports) plays a crucial role in supporting the team with the delivery of regional merchandising strategies across multiple gender/consumer categories within the Footwear and Team Sports categories of business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide data entry support with updating style-color direction every season.
  • Operate and maintain Merchandising systems (Trasix, etc.) for the business.
  • Support Ecommerce Merchandising team with the development of channel line plans to cater to consumer and regional requirements, ensuring alignment with financial targets and regional growth prospects.
  • Analyze, validate and input slot/style information in channel line plan tools.
  • Support weekly selling and business recapping across ecomm channel merchandising team
  • Support Merchandising team with content creation for key Go-to-Market gates.
  • Support post-mortem analyses to track market shifts and evaluate performance across various metrics, enabling agile responses to business trends.
  • Provide support to the Merchandising team with day-to-day tasks and special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with typically 2 years of related experience or Masters degree without experience or typically 6 years of relevant experience without degree.
  • Previous experience in Merchandising or Product Management, paired with a passion for identifying trends and better understanding the consumer. DTC experience preferred.
  • Ability to translate regional insights and market information into actionable and informed recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills and financial acumen; demonstrated by the ability to analyze and make recommendations that are consistent with the brand.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to indirectly influence a variety of job functions without having full ownership.
Work Environment

This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.

Return to Work Designation: 3 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
