Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, a premier skilled nursing facility, is seeking a full-time weekend RN supervisor to oversee day-to-day clinical activities of healthcare personnel. As an RN supervisor, you will interpret patient information, make critical decisions, administer medication, wound care, and other personalized interventions.

About the Job:

  • Completes admissions assessments and reassessments on all patients
  • Provides leadership and supervision to nursing staff, housekeeping, and security
  • Works closely with medical support staff to ensure resident needs are met
  • Maintains medical supplies and equipment
  • Provides education as indicated after assessing learning needs of patients and staff members
  • Assesses patient's physical and psycho-social condition on an ongoing basis
  • Utilizes manual and automated information systems to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Accurately records patient information in electronic medical records system
  • Demonstrates current working knowledge of equipment, instrumentation and medications
  • Acts as liaison in coordinating patient care activities with nurses, physicians and allied health professionals
  • Participates in preparation and facilitation of regulatory agency site visits
  • Maintains adequate infection control standards
  • Reviews and reports all medical, accident/incidents related to patient care
  • Participates in weekly and on an as needed basis case conferencing sessions with interdisciplinary team members
  • Ensures personnel adhere to established policies and procedures

Benefits Package:

  • $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time hires (bonus paid after successful completion of 90-day probationary period)
  • 12-hour shifts - 7am-7pm and 7pm-7 am

Requirements:

  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license
  • 3 Years RN experience preferred
  • Current BLS Certificate
