We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Avante at Lake Worth, Inc. as a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant.

About the Role:

This is a vital role in a facility with a positive community reputation, a history of successful outcomes, and an experienced cohesive team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication of Occupational Therapy services to residents.
  • Provides Occupational Therapy services to residents under the direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Assists in the selection of Occupational Therapy techniques/media and in the sequence of activities, adapts techniques/media as indicated by resident performance and following consultation with the Occupational Therapist.
  • Maintains acceptable resident care ratios as determined by the Occupational Therapist.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
