Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and mentor novice educators within the classroom, demonstrating effective practices and providing constructive feedback.
- Oversee the classroom environment, ensuring it remains safe, nurturing, and stimulating for all children.
- Act as a role model, promoting a growth mindset to inspire a passion for learning among young minds.
- Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, tailoring activities to meet the diverse needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
- Establish a secure and supportive atmosphere where children can engage in play and learning.
- Maintain regular communication with families, sharing updates on their children's experiences and milestones through various channels.
- Contribute to the success of the center by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet enrollment and engagement objectives.
- Foster relationships with families and colleagues, creating a vibrant environment where learning and play seamlessly integrate.
- State certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum of six months of professional teaching experience is required; one year is preferred.
- An Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Proven understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Must comply with state-specific guidelines for the role.
