Opportunity Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology unit at UPMC. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $29.50 - $35.00 per hour, depending on education and experience. Additionally, eligible candidates may be offered a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000 and access to our monthly loan repayment program.

Job Description

This role involves providing direct patient care, assessing and reassessing patient needs, planning and coordinating care, and engaging in team discussions to develop effective patient care plans. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current licensure to practice nursing in Pennsylvania or eligibility for licensure through the Nursing Licensure Compact
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Registered Nurse (RN) certification
